A Trip To Tahoe

We met up with our friends, the Ostlers, for a little vacation at Lake Tahoe. We hiked down to the lake and found a cool little secluded beach area. It was fun to have the place to ourselves and play in the water. The weather was perfect and everyone had a great time swimming, jumping off rocks and playing on the beach.

Lauren can make a treasure out of almost anything. This is a miniature tree (aka. a grape vine from our grapes at lunch).
What a life. Take a little nap when you want. Hang out in an inflatable rhino for a bit. Life is sweet when you are a baby on vacation.

Ready, Set, Pump! We were awesome at doing the pump car. Props to the crew: Dallin, Ben, and Lauren for their hard work and big muscles!

All Aboard!! Hanging out at the Railroad Museum in Carson City, NV.

We went back to the Lake for a second day of swimming and water fun. This time we went to a beach with a lot of dogs. This puppy adopted us because she got a lot of attention from our group. She was hilarious, if you threw water up in the air she would do flips and try to catch it in her mouth. The kids got a kick out of her. Here is a picture of Dallin and Ben throwing water for her. She swam out to the rocks with the kids and was jumping off with them as well.

The kids perfecting their free jumping skills. I'd give them 10's for creativity.
Good Times with the Fam.

We wandered up one of the trails at Squaw Valley after our day at the lake.

4 small children. One giant chair.

That's enough to make you want to hit the gym. I'd bet your muscles couldn't compare to those specimens.

Our little flower girl. If she had her way there woudn't be a flower left in the ground, she'd pick them all. She wasn't too happy when I told her what her Great Grandpa Strong used to call those flowers. She didn't think they smelled like "pee-the-bed" flowers.
