July 2010 Continued

One, Two, Three, Nobody Look at Mom!! Any doubts that these two are brother and sister????

Dallin swimming, Dallin biking, does anyone notice a trend forming?

There are few kids who love to watch cycling and ours are some of the few. During the Tour de France our bikes are up on the trainer and we ride while watching the stages. If the bike is free while a stage is on, Dallin now "rides" while he watches as well.

Lance Armstrong is well known around our house and the kids seem to have a little confusion about their relationship to Lance Armstrong. Is he our uncle? We have an Uncle Lance, that guy's name is Lance, so therefore he must be "Uncle Lance Armstrong."

We had some fun at Gilroy Gardens with Grandma and Grandpa Greenwell when they came for Jonah's blessing. We spent many days at Gilroy Gardens this summer. It is such a pretty place with all kinds of trees and flowers and has lots of fun rides for the kiddies.

WE LOVE THE BEACH!!! We enjoyed a warm, sunny day at Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Here is some beach fun with Grandpa and Grandma Davis. We went to Seacliff Beach while they were also here for Jonah's blessing. They seem right at home digging in the dirt :-) (They love gardening and Grandpa works in construction.)

The final products: A Turtle that Lauren built with Grandpa Davis and Mom. Dallin buried in the sand by Grandma Davis.

July 2010

The month of July in review:

Here is what happens after too much sand and surf in Santa Cruz. Wouldn't they make great undercover agents?

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY:

Watching the Santa Clara Fireworks, having a great time. Well, most of us anyway. I think Jonah is wondering how he can make a run for it. The poor baby had no idea what he was in for with this family....

The fireworks and all the related celebrations made for interesting conversations with Lauren. They started off with why we had fireworks and ended up in trying to explain the basics of the Revolutionary War and beginnings of our country to a 4 year old. In fact, I think she still is working it out in her mind, because the other day she had more follow up questions.

This is our very Zen sleeping baby.

Most kiddos don't truly appreciate their first food and show it by pulling a face or two. Not this guy, no faces, just some serious chow time. In fact I couldn't get it in that mouth fast enough. He was yelling at me and pulling my hand with the spoon to his mouth. This bubba loves his food.

This is Jonah at 4 months. He weighs just over 19 pounds which earns him all sorts of nicknames. Jonah the Big Kahona, Fat Baby, and Bubba Gump to name a few. Although, Lauren thought I was saying "Bubble Gum" for a while so that could go on the list. He is happy and smiley and a super fun baby.

July to be continued..........

OKAY FOLKS, HERE WE GO!!!

Well get me a knife and fork and a huge napkin. I am going to have a large feast on more words that came from my mouth. I said that I'm not doing a blog, I don't have time, etc., etc. Look at me now. I'll make this a short post since this isn't why you might look at this, and get to the stuff you might want to see. Patience, as I am new to this and it may not look fabulous, but in time I may figure it out.
